Today, I hit the magic 1000 number in my Nike+ Run Club (NRC) app. One thousand kilometers run in the last four years. It’s not spectacular, but it’s surely something 🙂

Sapiens is an excellent read for history buffs and anyone who has ever been curious about the fundamental questions regarding humanity for which answers are hard to get. The book will challenge your most profound beliefs and probably change how you view humanity and life on earth.
No teaching alone can help you find nirvana. Words cannot convey the message of actions. Wisdom cannot be passed on, for it cannot be expressed in words. When it is, it’s not wisdom anymore but mere opinions.
Shoe Dog is the story of Nike’s shy and publicity-averse co-founder Phil Knight told in an almost exuberant writing style with a flair for the dramatic.
The story seems simple enough until new pieces of evidence are brought to light through the protagonist’s investigative adventures.
But when I received it as a gift from a dear friend and realized it would be a quick read, I moved it up on my list. It was not worth it.
I honestly do not see how excelling at writing the most optimal algorithm for a working elevator in under 30 mins is going to help me write bug-free web interfaces, mobile apps, or whatnot.
